Sea Fish
Introduction:
Sea fish is the term given to the fish that live below the photic zone of the ocean. The types of seafood: fish lantern, flashlight fish, cookie cuter shark, bristle mouths, monkfish and viperfish, hatchet, Gulper eels and whales. Endangered species of deep-sea blue Hyke, spiny eels, spiny tail skate, round nose and onion-eye grenadier grenadiers. I’m on the verge of extinction due to the displacement of commercial fishing on the continental slopes continental shelf area up to 6000 meters. Another factor is the slow reproduction of these fish.
Habitat:
The photic zone is located a few hundred meters under the water, this region is not much explored. This species of fish are strange and most mysterious of the Earth. Even if you have evolved in a harsh climate, which do not survive in laboratory conditions and are therefore unknown. Least amount of research has been done on them as the cost of equipment for deep sea exploration is high. They recognized their scientific names of scientists only know about them. Many species in deep light emitting luminescent called sea that attracts other fish.
In addition to these live under high pressure and the weather is very cold here. The water is high amount of nutrients that are derived from wastes are accumulated in the sinking of a high level. The oxygen content in water is high and this is about 5-6%.
There is much less light to reach the surface of this earth, and so the process of photosynthesis does not occur. They live on organic matter sinking from the top surface. These areas are poor in terms of productivity. So here’s the fish meat jelly and have a minimum of bone structure.
Adaptations
To survive against predators who use the technique of camouflage that blend with the surrounding environment. Some animals allow light to pass through them and become transparent. Considering that the fish are black, which could easily escape into the darkness. These fish live in areas where natural light is available, so that they can not rely on the eyes for feeding and mating. They have adapted in the dark with eyes as big as known bioluminescent or antennae to help them find their mates.
Types of fish on the high seas:
Lantern fish:
It accounts for 65% of all biomass sea. Their length varies between 3 cm to 35 cm and has a pattern of photophores all down the body. Swim upwards to capture prey. These fish, if they are worn over the surface can not survive and their bodies and their eyes will explode.
Whales: plunge into deep waters in search of prey.
Viperfish: It ‘s one of the scariest fish found in the sea. It ‘clear and sharp teeth, long, light is used to capture prey.
Hatchet: It has the light that attracts the attention of their prey.
Gulper Eels: They have a large head and mouth to swallow the easy prey. They have an elastic stomach to help them eat large fish.
