Ladybug
The life cycle of a ladybug is simple. It is also not so different from the life cycle of butterflies. Ladybugs go through the same stages of a butterfly ago. Do you see a lot of adult ladybirds, I’m sure, but do not know a larva or a pupa unless you’ve seen them before.
The first phase of the life cycle of the ladybug is the egg stage. The female beetle lay their eggs on the leaves, usually on the underside. In this way, they are not so easily seen by potential predators. They are also better protected from the elements. Settle the ladybird mother usually 10 to 15 eggs, and will be close to the colonies of aphids, or other areas where they can easily find food when they hatch. Ladybug eggs look like tiny little yellow jellybeans. If you happen to be a walk in the park this spring, raising a few leaves of plants to see if you can find the little yellow eggs. Do not touch it, or you might kill some of the children.
The next stage of the ladybug life cycle is the larvae stage. When the eggs hatch, the larvae emerge in search of food. They look like little alligators. The larvae prey on aphids and mites, and they usually find plenty of them, since the mother in her eggs near a food source. After a few days, the larvae become large enough to make their skin, and will suit all the time in which they are growing. You can find their skins changed on the leaves.
The third stage of the ladybug life cycle is the pupa stage. They have been growing for a couple of weeks, and they turn from a larva into something that can look like a small shrimp. The pupae can find leaves that attach themselves to, and can remain dormant there for a few days. They are preparing for their metamorphosis into ladybugs.
The final stage of the ladybug life cycle is the adult stage. When their metamorphosis is complete, the larval skin splits, and a ladybug adult will emerge. Do not even look like the ladybug you know well. It will be clear and soft for several hours, until the shell becomes hard. As the shell becomes more difficult, but also reaches the color pigments, which cause the beetle to become bright red.
You can increase ladybugs on a farm that is similar to a worm or an ant. People raise them to study the metamorphosis of ladybugs in young fully grown. It ‘s also a good way to increase that may be helpful ladybugs to kill aphids and scale insects.
